The fish get used to seeing the same old production painted baits. A custom paint job gives you an edge over the competition. We’ve taken these patterns a step further and painted the colors over a scaled foiled base for a little more flash. We use high quality foil, paint, and a super tough epoxy clear coat. We currently offer the following foiled custom paint job patterns:

Chartreuse Shad (a.k.a. Sexy Shad) – The hot color in 2007! Big finishes at Grand Lake and Lake Gunterville on the BASS Elite series. A great color anytime shad are the favored forage. When the bass are in post spawn the shad are spawning this is the color you want to have in your tackle box! Get this pattern specially foiled and painted on your favorite crankbait.

Table Rock Shad – This pattern has been a staple color in the Ozarks for 20 years. We’ve stepped it up with a custom foiled version. This has the classic purple back with chartreuse sides over a silver foil base. We always add a dark shad kill spot in the correct anatomical position and a dark red gill arch. This is one of Amistad’s all-time favorites anywhere the water is clear and bass swim. We can paint this on a rogue or topwater bait as well.

Norman Flake – Another staple in the Ozarks. Grey back blending to purple sides over silver foil. Add violet flake and you have a bait that flashes like neon sign. Great shad imitator!

Amistad Special Green Shad – A great clear water scheme. Dark green back blending to light green side over foil. Super flash from the foil with finesse green touch. Some say it looks just like a minnow! A favorite with Amistad anglers in the know.

Foiled Clown – A staple all over the country except this one is painted over foil. Bingo!

Foiled Grey Shad – A staple clear water shad color. A great finesse color on a suspending bait. The flash of a dying shad, without the bling!

To have your baits foiled and custom painted:

1) Pick your patterns and quantities.
2) Purchase using our convenient shopping cart.
3) Remove all hooks and hook split rings.
4) Label each bait with the pattern desired using masking tape on the bill.
5) Ship your baits to us for painting. Please include your mailing address and phone number.
